Here you see on of our "G1" Class "Short" Cabooses... We added the penny for a size comparison. Though the penny is highly detailed in its own right, the detail on our caboose is truly striking, don't you agree ? The DM&IR had one of the neatest paint schemes of any railroad, especially on its cabooses. And check out those Air Hoses hanging off the caboose's railings. Most of the DM&IR's equipment double sets of air hoses so the train crews could reach them in the heavy snows that ofttimes fell in the great lakes areas...
